Prudent has acquired skills and experience in the natural science fields researcher and analyst in genetics, genomics, data analysis using the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) platforms.

She has worked in population genomics data analysis (ConGen 2018): Analysis of Next Generation sequencing data- University of Montana, Population genomics data analysis (ConGen 2018): Analysis of Next Generation sequencing data- SANBI NZG, 16S metagenomics and Bioinformatics workshop: Analysis of 16S data and Genome assembly-SANBI NZG, Population Genetics and Conservation workshop- SANBI NZG. Conducting research and providing Genetics services for external stakeholders Responsible for generating data (Sample collection, Nucleic Acid extraction, Sanger or NGS sequencing, Microsatellite and SNP marker analysis), Chain of Custody (COC) sampling for research projects and Forensics Organizing and participating in sampling trips for different species. Sample or voucher specimen collection following COC protocols; cataloguing and storage of samples for research.
