Tembile Yako

Tembile has spent 15 years working in the trade union movement, the public sector and contributing to the governance bodies of both the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) and higher education sectors. In the public service he has worked in strategic planning; project management; research and environmental scanning; and monitoring and evaluation (M&E).

Through the years, he has gained experience in management, research, facilitation, strategy development, Futures Studies, Strategic Analysis and Project Management.

His areas of interest include Public Policy, Strategic Management, Youth Development, innovation and technology management, futures.

His MPhil dissertation was focusing on ‘The Impact of the #FeesMustFall campaign on the use of Information and Communication Technologies in undergraduate teaching and learning in South African universities’, published in 2019.
